Stouts and Chocolate stouts

Who likes stouts and chocolate stouts?

The missus and I love 'em. Of the Guinness Stouts, we prefer the Extra Stout.

to the Stout draught

The draught version just tastes watered down whether it comes from a bottle or a can. Guinness on tap is, however, tasty.

Others, Rogue Double Chocolate Stout, comes in a bright red bottle, yum.
Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Ten Fiddy, only comes in a can, but actually surprisingly tasty. Brooklyn brewery Black Chocolate Stout. 72 Imperial Chocolate Cream Stout (a little sweet and desserty even for us, but still pretty tasty)

Lots of good stuff out there this time of year.

Interesting stuff in here too.
Not all are stouts.
10 beers you

I like the Sex Panther chocolate stout from San Tan brewery here in AZ.

I got a chocolate milk stout out of CO, it tastes good but I can only drink about a half a bottle at a time.

The extras and chocolates are always too sweet for me. I like the Guiness draught and a good Oatmeal stout myself.

Have an imperial stout aging in a freshly dumped whiskey barrel right now, will let you know in a couple months how it turns out....

Porter and stout guy myself. Have a few Poet's in the fridge right now. It's an oatmeal stout from New Holland brewery. Might have one when I get home this morning after a little overtime.

Stouts and porters are my favorite. You absolutely can't go wrong with Rogue. RJ Rockers Star Spangled Stout Ale, Palmetto Espresso Porter and Holy City Pluff Mud Porter are also great.

Do you have a stout tap on your keg setup? My brother and I both homebrew and we've been discussing a stout tap.

On this subject, I LOVE Stouts and have a Vanilla Bourbon Porter on tap now.

Cavatica Stout in a can is one of my favorite beers. It is a Fort George beer.

I like me some Guiness! My avatar is an obvious clue.

Green Flash Double Stout is a good one too!

I love stouts. Oatmeal stout is my go to beer in the winter. Distribution sucks in PA (getting better) so it is usually Samuel Smith. Choc, milk, imperial are all good, but hard for me to drink 2-3 at a time.

I love em....well not the Chocolate or Coffee flavored stuff. But I can only handle two or three in an evening as they sit pretty heavy.

I had a stout that had been aged in qhiskey barrels a couple of weeks ago. It was good, but I can't remember what it was.

Have you had the Rogue sriracha stout? I got a few bottles and wasn't impressed. Lots of heat, not much taste.

Not a huge stout fan but like them on occasion. During Houston restaurant week last year I ordered the beer pairing with a tasting meal and the dessert was a butterscotch pudding with a chocolate stout. It was quite yummy. I don't remember the name but do remember the waiter mentioning what a rare treat I was having to even get it in Houston

I've had a couple of these. Wow, inky dark. Makes Guinness Extra Stout seem like a light beer in comparison.

Cocoa Psycho

Quote:
Welcome to the world of Cocoa Psycho, a liquid dimension where pure indulgence reigns.

This Imperial Stout borrows from the voluptuary decadence of 18th Century Russia, with its extravagantly smooth blend of crushed coffee beans, cacao nibs and dark malts.

Dig past the infusions of vanilla pods and toasted oak chips and eventually you’ll come face to face with the madness required to make this beer: a kind of depraved logic that would make Rasputin himself proud.

To fully unleash the aromas and bittersweet luxury of this stout we recommend drinking it from a stemmed beer glass before taking a sledgehammer to a Faberge egg
