If Russell doesn't get the Mercedes seat next year he needs to drop Toto as his Manager. It will be obvious that he will not have Russell's best interest (and Mercedes) at heart.

Definitely going to be a wet start today , would love to see Russell get the win . Will be interesting to see if Lando can move up the grid.

My dvr was not set properly to catch the red flag delay. Half points for what, 1 or 2 laps? Thats ridiculous.

Williams drivers looked pleased however. Both get points and a podium for Russel.

I accept the points being awarded as a reward for the work that is done qualifying.

I went to sleep at 545 hrs, which was 1745 hrs in Belgium. I waited almost 3 hours for the race to start, and I am glad I didn't stay up to watch a 2 lap race, and a podium cere-money.

Sad for fans, I would have liked to see what Russel could do in second.

I was surprised by Mick's English. I'd say it's better than Michaels or even most other non-native speakers on the grid.

Well at least the supercup race was fun (2x 992s side by side in eau rouge, one spinning 360 and staying almost on the line)... F3 wasn;t bad... Could have used F1, but given the wreckage of the women series, and Perez binning it on the outlap, it's likely there would have been carnage...
The half point thing was odd indeed. Apparently zero chance of running monday, so there you go...
Russell deserves it from his race for MErcedes last year where he was robbed...

When I lived in Germany, (2001-2002), almost all Germans under 30 spoke quite good english. I was told that they were required to take three years of english as part of our equivalent of Jr. High/High school. Doubt that that has changed.

Damn shame to rain-out Spa. Was totally amazed when watching the cars fly through Eau Rouge while standing along the fence when I was there.
