Most of his work was before my time, but I did enjoy some of his later movies like Inside Man and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

I think Knives Out is still on Netflix or Prime. Watched it twice, enjoyed both viewings.

RIP to a true National Treasure. (Canadian)

RIP to a magnificent actor. He played Rudyard Kipling in this one........

And in another favourite of mine, 1981's "Eyewitness" with William Hurt......as Sigourney Weaver's father.

A truly great actor... RIP Sir.
  • "The Battle of Britain" (1969) is a true classic. I re-watched it recently on Blu-Ray.
  • "All the Money in the World" (2017) He replaced Kevin Spacey after the movie was completed (J Paul Getty). They had to go back and re shoot a bunch of scenes.
  • "Inside Man" (2006) with Denzel Washington and Jodie Foster. Christopher Plummer played the role of rich banker with a WW2 Nazi history.
