Lazy little wankers! :D

That sounds like a pretty good gig if you've got the aptitude.

David, you have any older GE equipment with MK I through MK IV+ controls?

We probably do on some of our really old (late 50's to early 60's) steamers but I'm not a controls guy so don't know exactly what we have.

I watched power price almost constantly during the freeze and I saw it fluctuate quite a bit. It hit $9,000 a lot (too much) but it also moved around every 15 minutes like it's supposed to.

I do believe that once they set it to $9,000 and no more power came on line for a couple hours, they should have backed it down to something like $1,000, but reports that it stayed pegged at $9,000 doesn't match what I witnessed on the ERCOT website that I was monitoring.

Of course I didn't know about the excessive ancillary charges that were being charged so maybe I don't know all that was going on with prices either.

These would be 1970-1995 GT controls. I did work on MK1 steam turbine controls (1970-1990) but those were completely different even though same same.
