nissan has a cool way to repro parts
https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1131591_nissan-churns-out-parts-for-classic-gt-rs-using-unconventional-methods
Basically a pair of robots pressing and forming from each side. Way cool. Unfortunately, it also probably means that you need to have the source for the part in whatever code type it takes for input.... |

So they are making parts for the "classic" that dates all the way back to 2007.
Mercedes has every part of any car they ever made and that dates to 1885.

How about...
Mercedes will (or used to) air drop you needed parts from an airplane when you are broke down in the Sahara. ?? |

I was able to buy a head gasket and valve guides for a 1930 model GP from John Deere just a few years ago. The dealer was able to get them in two days. They were spendy, but available. Some companies support their products.
