Russian naming conventions

I guess they don't really care what we think, but:

Shchit-1 system

"For years, the R-23M and the Almaz program were both wrapped in multiple layers of secrecy for various reasons. The fact that the OPS-2 space station was armed at all did not emerge until after the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. There was only one available picture of the R-23M prior to 2015, and not a very good one, which may have only reflected a prototype design and did not show the complete Shchit-1 system. In 2015, a special aired on TV Zvezda, the official television channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense, which included the first real look, seen above, of the entire space-based configuration."

I have a book written in the 80's on the space station.
Funny thing when looking at it from now.
The Russians went to great lengths to try to hide the launchs as just another civilian station instead of military.

But they slipped up in a few places and we knew day 1.

OPS-3, or Salyut 5, I use an aspect of the mission sometimes for trivia.
Because so far, the answer to the question I ask is not written out anywhere on the internet.
Useless for someone to try to smartphone it.
Not gonna say what it is.

Imagine the damage just one round would do. Orbital vehicles aren't constructed to withstand bullets.

Can you even imagine what's up there right now? - Whoever controls space controls the world!

I don't mean to PARF this thread but Space Force would have to be one of the most farsighted and greatest things accomplished by your last president.

But you did intend to.

I didn't mention his name.

If I wanted to PARF this thread I would have written: "The Great and Majestic President Donald J Trump"... lol

Or the accidents. Like igniting stage 2 of the N1 while it was still at the launch tower with the lead manager sitting under it.

Oh, and calling it a system name sounding like schit is funny to me.
