1985 Jeep J10 Pickup
Anyone know about these? My boss is looking for a truck to haul his trash to the dump.

I've always heard they are crap and have been out of production forever.
I think a beater Ford/Chevy/Dodge would be a better choice. |

They look cool as hell and if not already, could be the next hot truck on BaT

My BiL had them at one of the mines he worked at. Said overall they were great trucks but they were well maintained there as well.
Don't know if I would get one for hauling trash, but would get one for playing on the trails. I would think a cheap Toyota Truck would work for trash.

Very heavy duty but prone to rust. I got one running/sold for a friend years ago. Parts were kinda hard to find. Got like 9MPG.

So, I've been watching them for the last year. I've been snipped on at least five of them. There's a cult following on them. I want a pre 75 for smog reasons here in California. Prefer an early to mid 60s with the "Rhino" grill

I think they are based on the same Wagoneer chassis and power plant and if so the mpg is appalling. My 75 had the big block 401 motor that returned about 9-12 mpg no matter how I drove it. I loved that Jeep and stupidly sold it.

Those old Jeep pickups are cool along with the same era Dodge Power Wagons . But by today's standards they are rough crude beasts ........... not necessarily a bad thing 😁 . But rust is a killer and they rarely can pass a gas station .
