There’s a ton, it shows up in every thread about him.

This is despite the odd circumstances of this accident and his previous single-car crash in 2009 where he was found unconscious and snoring at the scene and his latter arrest for reckless driving in 2017 (He was cited with after he was found stopped in the road asleep and his tox screen showed Ambien, Vicodin and THC).

Must be nice to be a celebrity.

When you have a crash like that, your bell gets rung pretty hard. I’m not surprised at all that he can’t remember the accident and that has nothing to do with any substance in his body.

I really hate people who drive recklessly on the public streets. Street racing and the like. I have a similar low regard for the Paul Walker crowd, and Manjizz Walker, who posts videos of him driving recklessly in residential neighborhoods in LA. Take it to a race track. Dont endanger kids, grandparents, people on foot, etc etc.

You sure jump to an odd conclusion. Why would anyone hate him? Most of us don't even know him...much less call him by a nickname as you do. I understand he plays golf and the President gave him a medal. He could be almost anyone as far as I am concerned (other than he does not appear to be treated that way). I have no doubt (based on my limited life experience) that I would have been treated differently. Police seem to have no problem testing me for alcohol or drugs (even without my being involved in an accident or breaking any laws). It is nothing against him...but rather the people that treat folks differently based on their celebrity, race, sex, wealth etc. How often does one get into a serious single car accident like this...much less multiple ones without serious scrutiny by the police?

I have been driving since I was 16 and never yet drove off the road or totaled one single vehicle.
Do you realize that citing personal experiences is only anecdotal and has no basis to establish a reference point or to judge anyone except yourself? Congrats. Thousands, probably millions have that same story, but not sure what else we can gain from that. However, in the US, 40,000 people died in traffic accidents last year.

Not a good endorsement pitch for Hyundai.
… Or pro golfers? (Just extending your endorsement line of thought). Being a pro golfer (e.g. good athlete) isn’t a valid assumption of driving skill or good judgement. Not the slightest.

I think Vllanueva, who has a dubious history in his short stint as Co. Sheriff, waited until public inquiries piled up as to why he appeared to minimize Wood’s responsibility, calling it just an accident. He may also have been swayed by celebrity admiration.

According to reports, Villanueva said nobody would be cited for speeding in a solo vehicle collision without any witnesses. Finally, the black box controversy grew to a point where he finally requested (weeks later) the black box data. Not a witness, but pretty valid evidence; 80+ mph. The black box also recorded no brake pedal action. Draw your own conclusions.

And to spread some mild criticism toward that Daily Mail link:
Whoever created this “as the bird flies” map to indicate Woods crash path……probably an intern (failed civil engineer?)? It indicates a cross country shortcut through the woods. Need a talk with the photo editor.

It's also interesting that up the road a bit, Peninsula Shopping Center is where Pelican Parts has their area AM car meets. I wonder how many exiting cars have performed the pin-ball thing at the bottom of the hill?

While it seems it’s Tiger-specific hate. IMHO, it’s more indicative of celebrity entitlement backlash.
