992 GT3 livestream reveal coming soon!

In less than a week Porsche will be revealing, via a live-stream video on their website dubbed, “Livestream Digital World Premiere for the youngest member of the Porsche 911 GT family from Stuttgart.” Meaning... we'll be getting a taste of what's next for the 992 GT3! Be sure to set your reminders for 9 a.m. ET on Tuesday, February 16 here: https://newstv.porsche.com/en/.

We're given this teaser above, which shows the GT3's wing that we've already seen in spy shots throughout the web.

Quote:
A 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six should power the rear wheels, and you should still have the choice between a manual or PDK automatic gearbox.
What do you think we can expect?

We all saw the teaser of the 992 GT3 during the Superbowl, but now official photos have been released.

What are your thoughts on it?

Some say that this might be the last of the great Porsches since 'electrification' is the new trend.

I love it, but I am not in the right demographic. I can't see spending that much money on any car.

I agree. To be honest, I've never been a huge fan of the overall 992 design - too big and bulky for my taste. I think the 991 was the absolute biggest a '911' should be. Maybe a 997 is the biggest for me actually...

The 911 has grown just to have the space to cram the zillions of computers and sensors and electronics into the car that it needs to meet government safety standards and the performance standards of Porsche.
