Come Clean - Who is Addicted to the Classifieds?

Come clean pelicans, who is addicted to the Pelican Parts Classifieds?

Personally, I have a problem... I am constantly looking at the used 911 parts board and I can't stop. I have a problem.

I'm sorry if I have hurt anyone with my addiction. Please forgive me...

Please use the Poll to clear your conscience...

I found my '88 here in the classifieds. I'm very happy with it. The car was right, the price was right and it was local. Never would have had the opportunity if I wasn't looking every day.

I'll look in the parts classifieds every once in a while, more often if I really need something.

But cars? Nope. Needs to not be a forum, but an app. Let me search by model, year. Filter by coupe, cab, targa, etc, like a real site. Newer cars it would be nice to filter by transmission.

Put the price and location in the title, and either drop the sold and pending ones, or move them to another forum when they're not for sale.

Then I might shop the car classifieds.

Is it really a problem?? Who knows? That set of SSI's might show up crazy cheap! And when they do, BAM... you're on it. Do I need em? nope... but I wouldn't mind having a good set. Or maybe that sweet sounding muffler appears... gotta have it!

Thousands spent in the classifieds.

Motorcycle parts that simply exist nowhere else.

It's a terrible addiction, I buy tons of stuff all the time just because. And get myself in trouble with things like BBS Turbo fans so now I have to find some E50s.

There's always something great to buy.

I used to when old Porsches were affordable. Now it’s just depressing.

And probably twenty other bits that are impossible to find now anywhere else.

+1

My real ire is stirred visiting BaT, so many material things I love but cannot afford, or at lease want to spend to park in my garage.

Agree the poll is not well thought out. Where is the option for not in the last year, or never?

Ok so now you forced me to visit Bat tonight. Something like this would be awesome to have as a kick around truck for local Santa Barbara! Though I would be fine with same @ 100K miles, recent updates, and $40K less out of pocket.
