What is a real 240 like to drive ?

yeh, 240Z

been a few decades but my recollection is not as precise as a 924

OTOH... it's a lot nicer looking on the outside

I had a '73 240Z daily driver that was set up more for the track than it was for the street, but I was young, single, and more "durable" back then.

One of the happiest memories I have of my youth was the "driver education" day I spent at Lime Rock Park. I remember the car being fairly neutral and predictable, but I also remember being able to steer with just my right foot when driving right OnZEdge...

Also, the '73 V-6 Ford Capri BY FAR was the easiest car to oversteer. I owned a '73 Z and '73 Capri at the same time.

I've shared this before and happy to do so again.

My neighbor bought his 240Z brand new in 1973 and still owns it today, he is now 77 and I drive the car fairly regularly to keep it exercised. It is brisk, fun and nimble even in bone stock form.
Really great cars to own.

No weight on the rear end. Seats are pretty much on the tires. Torquey 6 cyl. I had a 280Z, but imagine a 240 is the same.
