Sausage Strips

didn't want to mess up the egg thread.
Had a couple strips of this for breakfast today with hash browns.
It's pre-cooked...just treat it as bacon....very good taste.
An added bonus is the package is resealable....unlike bacon packages.

Interesting. I'm not really a breakfast person as coffee will do. Once in awhile, I would line a ramekin with bacon, then crack an egg in it. Season the egg with salt and pepper, then microwave it for about a minute. A quick, fast, tasty breakfast.

Sausagebacon? That's just not right.
The millennials can't leave anything alone. 21st Century has lost its mind. Next we'll have cats sleeping with dogs, pigeons washing cars - when will it stop?

Why do you need to reseal a bacon package? Aren't they single servings?

^^^ The slices are actually quite big. I think one would equal two slices of bacon.
They had three varieties on sale. Original, Maple, and Spicy.
Tomorrow, I'll try some in the air fryer....should work fine, bacon is great in the thing.

We tried some and it does have some bacon flavor and I don't like bacon so the dog got it.

If you like bacon however, you will probably love them.

I am not a particularly picky eater. Of all the stuff I have eaten, I don't care for ham, bacon, cilantro and menudo. There are some raw stuff I won't try and maggot cheese I will not try. I will eat brussle sprouts though.

If it is thick cut bacon and crisped up a bit I will eat it. Just don't enjoy it.

My kid on the other hand will eat it until he explodes.

I don't like pina colada and getting caught in the rain either.

Maggot cheese? Is that a euphemism for cottage cheese? If so, I completely agree.

You seem like an OK guy, but not liking ham, bacon, or cilantro puts you in the "questionable" category.

My son told me the other night that peanut butter and chocolate don't go together (specifically talking about peanut butter M&Ms and/or Reeses). I nearly disowned him, but instead decided grounding him till he graduated was more reasonable.

I eat cottage cheese about every week....love it.
It has to have fresh ground pepper on it.

Ugh. "Maple Flavor". That looks to be mainly fat with corn syrup and nitrates. Not that bacon is a lot better, but at least it isn't a pressed slice of mystery meat.

Wow. That is a good idea!

Sometimes I feel like a bacon and eggs breakfast but can't face the intellectual challenge of timing every thing right. That is a very nice "quick and nasty" way of getting an excellent breakfast - thanks.
