Do they eat brake pads like the earlier models?

I will find out.

Hopefully there are more tire options. When I had mine there was almost nothing available for the factory 21” wheels.

There's quite a lot now Matt. Even though the front tires are brand new, I'm getting a full set of these. They are Porsche N1, good reviews, reasonable price. I will follow the 20,000 mile warranty to the letter since I'm betting I'll get 10 to 15K miles at the most out of them.

will it go fast enough to bake cera-coat on your parts w/o an oven?

Good deal. When I had mine, which was years ago, I think the best I could find was a set of UHP AS that were ok at best.

Another tip regarding the use of the interior.... The audio buttons on the steering wheel (either side of the "V") have a nasty habit of peeling. A trick is to pull on these buttons (from back to front) and it will yield the same result as if you pushed on the button, but with the advantage that you wont peel off the delicate paint/finish on the top part of the buttons. At least it worked for me when I had my CTT.
