Same parking lot etiquette I see at Starbucks, reminiscent of the five foot blonde,looking thru the steering wheel, trying to park the lifted Escalade, balancing her latte, cell phone, lap dog & two kids.

The 220,000-ton, 400-metre-long Ever Given – a so-called megaship operated by the Taiwan-based firm Evergreen – became stuck near the southern end of the canal on Tuesday. The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) said it had lost the ability to steer amid high winds and a dust storm.

I have always wanted to sail the Suez...friends of mine have done it and say it is a really weird experience. I have done the Panama Canal but the close quarters are fairly short in duration.

About three years ago...on a vacation to Panama to see the canal, our flight did the final approach from the Pacific side to land.
It was about noon and the cargo container ships numbered about 30 and they were all pointed towards the canal...all waiting their turn.
It looked like the landing at Normandy.

So, I can really imagine what the back-up looks like.

That made me LOL. I saw a real one on the big island of Hawaii at a pineapple farm. It stuck out of the water. It was so large there was zero chance of it going down the drain unless someone was going to cut it into several pieces. damn, probably a huge ass Samoan made that one.

My sister had a BAD phobia about dirty bathrooms. Like ONE hair on the sink kinda deal. My mom and I decided to prank her by clogging up the bowl with a realistic, massive fake log I got at the magic shop. I wrapped it with toilet paper and crammed it in there.

A few hours later we hear this scream and she blows a fuse. "WHO DID THIS, NOT COOL" I'm like, "what? whats wrong?" "THE TOILET!!!!"

I walk over and I'm like "Damn, thats big, I'll unclog it." I then reach in and pull it out. "See? all good!" She then gags like shes gonna puke. We all started laughing. She was not happy... lol

As a young lad, I rarely ate veges, and took a dump about once a week. I plugged up a toilet good at the Space Age Lodge in Anaheim. lol

Taiwan based ownership? Makes me wonder if McConnell's (sp?)wife may be connected...

While on this very subject...

The girl from next door and I were having a laugh about a neighbourhood in Auckland and I said "As a little boy I was checking out the new subdivision next door and need a dump in a new build house. I went to flush it and found the water wasn't yet plumbed in haha, the builders must have been highly pissed off."

She said "That's nothing. When I was about 10 my parents took me out to lunch then to look at a display home. Suddenly I REALLY had to go to the loo. I went to the toilet then went to flush it and no water, not even in the toilet bowl. Just a big turd. THEN no paper so I used the white cotton hand towel. LOL the place stunk, a turd in the toilet, a brown stripe on the hand towel, and my face glowing red with embarrassment. It was fairly obvious who'd done it LOL"

^^^ Johnny Knoxville / Jackass show did a similar bit. He went into a plumbing showroom with a newspaper and took a dump on a demo toilet in a model bathroom. The employees were not amused.

Home Depot doesn't put out display models anymore....

BTW, not the first time that particular vessel has been aground.
