This channel is one I actually subscribe too, I never thought I would be so interested in watching a guy recover stuck vehicles. Yet, here I am watching every video that comes out.

Did you see how he welded on those new stub axles!? Guarantee they will be laying on the ground first good tug. There is a ton of force on those tracks

Cross lighting. Ignore the product placement.

I feel the same way, it also seems to me that low buck trailer wheel/tire might not be up to the task either. At least it sounds like he will have back up on the next adventure.

Yes. He ever pointed out that is what will probably fail.

That was my thought exactly.

Fab Rats is another good channel.

I would have moved another solid bogie wheel to the back and put the new wheel in the middle somewhere it would have a much better chance.

That repair was too sketchy by half. Did you see how the original tire was foam filled, practically solid?

I watched the rescue when the snowcat broke it's wheel. My take away with these guys is that they do a good job with difficult recoveries, they're fearless and creative and experienced but they aren't really prepared for when things go sideways.

I wonder - do they have food and water and blankets in case they have to spend the night? A satellite phone or a beacon? They seem like good people. I'd hate for something to happen and have this end up as a cautionary tale.

Go click around the channel, he has done some really remote recoveries where they set up camp.

He also built that Morrvair from the frame up.

The people he has assembled as a crew are pretty cool. The younger guy in that video I posted is his son, and the woman was his wife. She is not typically out on recoveries.

There is a 18 y/o cowgirl that is typically out with them who has been working with him for years, daughter of a good friend, and she is a hard worker.

Then there is old Ed, he is the older gold prospector that befriended Matt years ago and just comes around to hang out and be part of the fun.

The owner is really down the earth, you will not hear any cursing or crude humor, they are a really wholesome group. I have seen some videos where he comps the recovery for Veterans or Active Military on leave, he also does a lot of local fund raising.

He seems to know what he is doing and not afraid to show his failures on the channel, something rare these days.

"The Operations Room" is a great source for historical videos on various battles and wars.
