It is 51 degrees here, and raining, slow easy rain. 0.15 so far in 3 hours since it started. We could use the rain, but we I wish we would warm up a bit.

My dachshund is buried under a comforter. |
Scattered clouds here today...and 52 F.
When the sun is out...not bad. When it's not ...need a winter coat because of the north wind. |
For me it isn't just Spring that's sucking. I'll take 2020 over 2021 so far.
Can't find inventory to sell Wife had an accident (Hooked a post with the back door) with the new Highlander I tore my meniscus and had surgery last Wednesday Just found out there's now a "chlorine shortage" so bought a chlorine generator. Pretty sure there's something else that has gone wrong this year so far. I'm ready for 2022 to be here. Z, Sorry for your loss man. As you said, he's in a good place now. |
Earlier, 1pm, it was 93F and 50%, now its 73F and 66%. She's headed your way masraum!
I'm on the couch watching the second wave roll in, with the front door wide open. Looks pretty dark! |
Send it my way! I'll take 73.

This is supposedly the last night we will have frost. It’s 36 now and headed down to 34 by morning. I’m glad I started my tomatoes late. They aren’t unmanageably big yet. Hopefully I can get them in the ground this weekend.
|
3 mornings in a row with frost warnings...it may go up and touch the sunny mid 50s around noon, then the clouds start rolling in again with more rain...like a broken record.

Welcome to NW OH in the Spring. |
same here in Europe...coldest may we've had in ages..

On a positive note: My energy costs for this spring are outstanding. For April, my gas & electric costs were under $200, and this in a 3100 sq foot home. I suspect it will be lower for May. There are only two of us living here (my wife and I), and we turned off the heat in all but our bedroom back in March. Our 20 year old home is well insulated.
During the summertime, it helps that we are up in the mountains were the temps are on average, 8 degrees cooler than in the surrounding towns and cities. So there is a silver lining in a cooler spring, at least for me... The graphs are from PSE&G. When a telemarketer calls me and urges me to buy solar panels, I tell them that my energy costs are better than energy efficient homes! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1620837170.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1620837170.jpg |
Cold temps keeps the cicadas in the ground. Only prolonging the inevitable, I'm afraid.

Why? Is there a shortage on BB ammo too?

Amazing how Anchorage is warmer today.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1620852498.jpg

Tuesday late evening had a terrific long duration thunderstorm. We turned off the house lights and watched the lightning lighting up the house. A heavy hail storm was concurrent. Wednesday morning about 10am I found the last night's ice still on the windshield.

39 degrees predicted again tonight.:mad:
