Spring 2021 sucks

I still need to have the heat on overnight. This sucks.

Been great here. Haven't used heat or AC for nearly a month.

Next week is supposed to be a good warm-up for us.
Trees and shrubs are in limbo with the cold air...and it's almost halfway thru May.
The turtles are po'd.

I almost forgot....we had a small amount of snow/sleet this morning.

Really, really, really sucks. Cold, raining, windy - after the year we've had we really needed a warm, early spring, but we've gotten the exact opposite.
OTOH on May 9 last year it hit 24 degrees here.

Can't remember ever turning on the heat this late... as recently as two days ago, in the morning just to knock the chill off.... then the A/C later in the day (it's on now). Can't remember using both on the same day before either....

Damn Covid

We have yet to turn on our AC, the thermostat is set to heat mode, and comes on as necessary. It was just 51 this morning. I am past ready for spring to spring up. Our grass is mostly Bermuda grass. It just does not grow much in cool weather. It wants HOT weather for the day, and temps about 70 at night. My grass is just not doing the usual growth for this time of year.

72* and 62% RH here. It's a little high fog today. Ugh.

Weather has been crap here too, if it's not been cold it's been wet, can't remember having such a cold May

It's starting to warm up a bit, hopefully it lasts

Weather here has been great but very cool at nights - unseasonably cool. Last night it was 39 degrees, & it has been like that for a long time. As much as I don't like the heat of the summer and late summer, it's time for it to warm up.

It's almost 90ş today. It was 80ş at 10pm last night. We're supposed to get some cooler weather that will drop us down into the 60-80ş range for most of the rest of the week.

I'm going to go mow the lawn.

Spring of 2020 really, really, REALLY sucked. There was this COVID thing. And last March, I lost my father, but thankfully, he did not die of COVID. He just passed his 100th birthday and passed away from old age. I couldn't even hold a memorial service because of the pandemic.

So yeah - it's a little cold out this spring, and I wish it were warmer. But compared to last year's spring, its all good...

I’m with Z..this spring is ok with me. Late frost bit everything and the rain has been significant but the world is not at a stand still and I’m not taking my dad to chemo treatment and watching his life slip through our ability to make it better. 2020 sucked a$$! I’ll take the cool spring and whatever is ahead...glad to be on the green side of the world to see it all.

Actually went, and brought another front end loader of firewood up to the house, and started a fire last night...quickly added 15* without paying for electric.

I'm usually working on getting the pool ready this time of year, but drove through 30 mph winds, and rain/snow on Sunday coming home from our first camping trip.
