Pizza My Heart's 'Big Sur' is a belly-buster for sure. They have another larger store in downtown Santa Cruz that has more selections and other stuff like salads & deserts too. All locations also sell single slices.

I think their pies are among the best in town...the pesto is one of my favorites.

The simpler the better, one topping at most
Wife says cheese only, only way to judge quality of the pizza

My go to is green olives, or pepperoni if I'm in a savory mood

Said it in the other pizza thread, but I really like gorgonzola, anchovies, carmalized red onion.
Goat cheese and pears a close second.
During peak basil season, a good margharita with garden basil is hard to beat.
