Big Sur, Big Mistake

Apple engineers once again have outdone themselves.
Dont install it!

It's not just Apple... I just installed Android 11 on my Motorola cell phone that was working just fine, and now it's slower and way more glitchy. Very annoyed.

It wiped out my iMac too. Fortunately I had a good backup from a couple of days before and I could restore it. I'm back to Mohave now and scared to death to "upgrade" to anything else.

No. The iOS is just numbers. Current at the moment is 14.6 for iOS. Apple like to make up silly names for the OS on the computers. They used up all the big cat names, long ago and moved on to other silly names for the OS.

Since I use a Windows product it is just Win 10 Professional version 20H2 build 19042.985 for the current version.

MacBook Pro, mid 2015; I have been running Big Sur for a while, 11.4 as well.

No issues at all.

Krist, I read the title and thought the highway was out!

Apple makes the best consumer computers. That does not mean they are all that good.

OP, work your way up to a Level 2 Tech, give them 12 minutes of your time, then ask for Engineering. You will not be able to reach them (exceptions may apply based on who you are) but that will help elevate your issue.
