Baz. What is this succulent and is it going to die?

Just noticed it got this massive bloom. Is it doomed?
Thanks!

Not an Aloe.

It's a Haworthia.

Does NOT die after blooming!

Happy gardening, Bob!

Gardening. One of the simple pleasures in life. Succulents are the latest. Amazing varieties. Who comes up with this stuff?

I know. I picked up some fish emulsion fertilizer yesterday and have been using it here and there on certain plants. Today I fed some specimen Crotons with it - and have to say it was fantastic! Will be doing more tomorrow - this time my palms!!!

I seem to get a burn every six months or so. I just break off a leaf of Aloe (don't know what varirty...) and the next day the burn area is fine. I can't believe how well it works.
