Are you saying he may have bought the helmet in the intervening years?

Tabs may never die because it would be too hard for him to miss speaking at his eulogy.
|
On 28 June, 2019, I wrote a eulogy of sorts on Pelican for a friend and fellow fighter who was killed by the scum taliban in Afghanistan. I wrote because I was still in the fight, couldn't just get up and leave A-Stan. So, I wrote a few lines to clear the air, as it were. It was an intense time, as were my words. There were a few kind replies, understandably, how do you respond to something like death in combat? There were two responses from men that get it. One, from Seahawk, because he's been there. Offered country air when I returned ( Sorry Paul, still getting out to the farm!). The other was Tabs. His words sparse, no condolence, words of comprehension and understanding: " Centurions in the American Legions". Like a sniper shot 1500 meters out - Tabs is on target.

Perhaps this thread reveals something of the problem.
We are focused on the messenger, not on the message. Best Les |
I fail to see the problem... mebbe Tabby can 'splain it to me :D
|

|

this thread is an interesting update in the saga of what human nature has evolved to............
And it is NOT "attractive". |

Mother has told me on multiple occasions in no uncertain terms that she, "Does not like my sense of fashion." But I keep on telling her "I have got to be me, I have got to be free to express my inner self"...At which time she throws up her hands and walks away muttering under her breath... |
You fashion sense looks fine, great even.
However... If I was to positively critique it, I'd say a different belt. Maybe a nice pink one, pink, but from the same palette as the shorts. |
