I was just cleaning up a cabinet Friday night and found a few bricks of firecrackers.

My in-laws have 40 acres in central KS, the whole family comes back every 4th and we put on one hell of a show. My kids love it, it’s become a family tradition. We drive to MO to get the good stuff, then my teenage son and his 21 year old uncle glue the big cakes to 4x8 sheets and fuse them. We augment them with a bunch of mortars and end up with a solid five minute long grand finale.

Used to love it, but these days, especially in crowded country like Belgium.. it just causes to many upset pets. Last time I had a good blow out (probably minor compared to most ).. I asked my neighbors if they objected.. no no problem good fun they all said.
I was new to the neighborhood then, in 2010. I'm house #21.. the Beagle at #23 pissed her new couch due to the fireworks I was shooting up behind my garage Worse yet, Boris my cat, then decided the Beagle was a wuss, and proceeded to bully him whenever the poor dog dared to stick his nose under the fence... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/sad2.gif |

From what I hear they don't like to waste bullets in the deep south.. and instead just find somebody they dislike to make sure the lead don't go to waste or ends up falling out of the sky where it might hurt innocent bystanders(if there is such a thing)

I see at least six buildings in my area that sell fireworks.
Bad news for them. |
Out of rocks in HD  go figure.

It seems there is now a shortage of patio furniture.

My 83 FIL came to our house for Independence day, and proceeded to randomly shoot his left over fireworks from previous years. nobody else was into it, and he seemed miffed about that fact, when in reality, our dogs were going nuts, and we worried about his safety.
