Oh No!! Another shortage due to Covid.
|
Everyone should just tie a few $100 bills on a stick and light them on fire.
|
Oooh...Ahhh!!
Gotta love the popup tents! |
I guess I got over fireworks when I was a kid. A professional show is nice, but only if the weather is nice, and the bugs are not bad.
One other shortage, waxed paper. Go to the local grocery store al try to find any. It is all gone. I have no idea who would want to horde it. We have a roll that is decades old. Good thing we don't need more. |
There's a shortage in every fooking thing I seem to need to run my business.
Fireworks, yep, I don't care for it much, fun to see for a few minutes of ooh ahh. I have to think that someone is getting pay to do this and that revenue is lost, people quit making money to feed their families. That goes for both the Chinese, shipping companies and our American counter part as well. Summer is here and businesses try to attract people outdoors with these tents for shade. I like to see the economy go back to what it was again instead of people sitting on the wide line waiting for their crap to show up so they can starting making money again. |

damnit damnit damnit. we can't have fireworks here in the summer because of the forest and constant daylight. but every christmas my neighbor blows off a ton. i was going to stock up and participate this year. |
the old standby from LA was just to shoot guns in the air. but that's getting pricey too.

No drive in movie theatres either. Still can’t get the new Xbox. It’s going on six months. Weird things like charcoal briquettes are unobtainable this week. Ammo is sporadically available now. But way overpriced. |
Good. Now maybe I won’t have to worry about my neighbors trying to burn my house down.

and let's be honest... about time people take consumer firework efforts to the next level |
You would think the Chinese could have seen a shortage coming.
They had over a year to plan for it.:) |

My FIL was always the one who bought several bags worth of fireworks, and didn't handle them safely (always some sketchy situations on July 4). I can honestly say that I have never bought any, but generally watch the neighbor's thousand(s) dollar shows every year.
We generally camp in our barn yard on holiday weekends. |
