E46 DSC and throttle question
I’m at the track this weekend with the new to me 2005 BMW 330ci. All the suspension work and wheels/tires has paid off. As I’ve progressed with higher speeds, the DSC is kicking in, which is not a problem (and probably saving me somewhat) but the throttle limiter portion is not allowing me to accelerate out of turns.
I’d like to keep the DSC, but eliminate the throttle limiter. Is there a way to do this? Edit: I’ve read online that I can press the DSC button once and it will temporarily turn off the DSC, but it’s there in the background with a higher limit if you really screw the pooch. In this mode, is the throttle limiter active? Edit 2: holding it down for 10 seconds or so completely turns off the DSC, until you turn off and restart the car. TIA |

Al Gore promises an end to the polar ice caps if you disable DSC. If you send him copious amounts of money, it may help buy time.

This works on my E46... Key on, press and hold DSC button for 3 seconds.
