A Quiet Place Part II
If you liked the first one, you will love Part II. One of the rare times the sequel is as good or better than the original. Just don't expect to breathe through almost the entire movie.

Awesome, I really enjoyed the first. Emily Blunt is great or, at least, I enjoy seeing her, in just about everything she's in. And her hubby is good too.
I've been curious about the second.

A very watchable and entertaining movie- I have the utmost respect for John Krasinski and enjoy watching Emily Blunt movies. For me, it was basically ground that's already been covered (although with new heroes) and I missed John Krasinski not being in it for more than a few minutes. I can see the market for this, knowing that it's going to be a big money maker. I'd just rather see something new.

Don't watch this unless you've seen the movie.
Really. No, seriously. John K, equal parts brilliance and talent.

Extremely watchable.
Movie pacing reminded me of the original Terminator. As to dislikes, jump scares. Shaking my head. One per movie should be the law. They were effective but there needs to be a limit. Quote:
Just seems JK used movie "stuff" that was utilized successfully by other directors across time. I give it an 8/10 for enjoy-ability and 7/10 as a movie.

John Krasinski has an amazing acting career, both movies and tv, and his writing/directing debut was A Quiet Place I/II and he gets to go home to Emily Blunt after all that.
Not a bad life at all. |

I saw that POS in the theater. Garbage, almost walked out.
Zero plot, nothing but cheap jump scares and just cheesy. I especially liked the whole bear trap scene (Kid sure recovered quickly) and that steel door pipe access cover they were lifting up- like it was made of plywood or something ![]() Dumb. rjp

I'm disappointed with these reviews... I thought the original was great!

I guess I’m an outlier here, I did not see the first one (it still costs) but watched the second one. I thought it sucked…

Honestly I can't say there's a grain, people have tastes in ice cream, movies, cars and how they like their steak done. Rotten Tomatoes may be the only way to decipher grain but even that, critics and audiences alike, aren't going to tell you if you'll like a movie going into it.

I still haven't seen it, but I will. When I watch a movie like this, especially if it's a sequel, I'm not expecting a cinematic masterpiece (honestly, that goes for pretty much any action, comedy, horror/thriller, etc...). For me a movie is about entertainment.
Yeah, he's doing OK for sure.

I don't mind Emily Blunt- I liked her in Sicario when she played the typical ultra-nosy woman to a tee.
Then, she got punked by getting shot knocking the wind out of her. I LOL'ed at that. rjp
