I'm confused. Not sure how the bearing wallered out the shaft. The bearing is inside the pulley, which rides on the nose of the front housing. The shaft runs through the nose.
Anyway, if you have time, I can seal this one up and send it your way. I don't think I have a case seal kit for it on hand, I'd have to check. I might could send it next Tuesday? All depends how quick I can, if I need to, get parts. There are some aftermarket 10PA15C's that are alright. The Denso OEM I have is off my buddies tacoma, he has over 150,000 miles on the replacement compressor I put on. I can't remember what brand it was. Just let me know what direction you might want to go, and I'll do what I can to help out. |
It was a Valeo.
If the front nose is mangled, you need to take it farther apart to replace what is bad, that will require removing the 6 allen head case through bolts. I believe they are 6mm, might be 5, I forget. Then replace that with a new (to you) nose piece and case seal. New bearing, and what you have that is still good, likely the pulley, coil, clutch, and you are good to go. |
Matt, I sent you a PM...

I have a better solution.

He's been over and above helping me with advice, information and parts. I'm not up and running yet, but at least I'm confident I'm on the right track and this is something that "average Joe" can do. Thank you Matt. |
You are very welcome, sir. Let me know if you need help along the way.
