fresh kill

With the recent rains...these buggers have been moving into my lawn like crazy.
Easy digging for them now.
Set the trap...5 minutes later...caught him.

^^^ In a 10X20 foot area...it was criss-crossed by multiple raised tunnels.
I have 4 of these traps and I set them all out at once. Anywhere they go...they can't escape.

The moles that I used to see when we lived in Japan were tiny like that.

The crazy thing is one day we heard this horrible noise coming from just outside the front door. My dad and I ran out and saw the cat staring down a mole. The cat was a known killer and had brought home many, many birds and rats. The mole was making this crazy, LOUD noise and the cat was sitting back clearly thinking, "holy carp, I'm not sure I want to fark with that thing!"

I had them bad a few years back, there were raised humps everywhere in the back part of my yard . I smoked them out a few times, and it seemed to have worked .

Garage
We have had Voles. I have found the Vole repellant stuff (goes on like fertilizer) from Amazon has worked very well to drive them out of my yard.

Not sure it works on Moles though.
