I have never participated in any activity whatsoever dressed in a certain way, or hung out with the cool folks just to be cool. I simply never cared at all.
I live my life in a normal (to me) way and trying to be hip, cool, goth, bad, sharp dress man, gangsta, or anything but the real me is never going to happen. I have a full beard, that like all my hair has turned chrome, (not grey!) and it is kept at just an inch or so maximum. Happily married for 29 years and I just don't care at all what others think. In high school there were all the cliques from the chess club to the dopers. I was in a group of one, and I carried my camera everywhere. As soon as school was out, I went right to the state legislature when they were in session, and I was working as a newspaper photographer. I was busy earning money.
