Oh my! Looks like a fun track toy! Not much $$$

A co-worker told me about these. Wow, looks like fun. If I'm reading it correctly looks like it has a Suzuki power plant.

Interesting. <$30k, 375hp, and top speed of 152. I assume the acceleration and performance is pretty mind bending. It's a shame you probably can't drive it to/from the track. Or can you? I didn't read much, no time right now.

NASA has been looking for a similar thing to SRF3s for 20 years. maybe they found it? while SRFs arnt particularly attractive, there is something about the proportions on these that are REALLY not right.

Ok, so not that expensive, except you need a trailer, and a tow pig, and a garage or storage facility big enough to store a trailer and the toy. And then the tow cost to get to a track.

Just buy a street legal GT4 718 and drive to the track and drive home and drive it to work on occasion for less.

I think I'd much rather blow up a Suzuki engine than a Porsche engine. Just sayin. Tires, brakes and ever other component would be much much cheaper.

in college i was on the mini baja team. if we didnt graduate, the school was going to ask us to do the Mini-Indy event. we would build a race car. IIRC it would be a yamaha 1000cc motor.

man, this thing if it met dimensions would own that race!! i would love to lay eye and hands on it. i think it is very cool.

Can you get a GT4 for list? base price is $101k. Throw in a few options and you're likely up to $120k

Or stuff it into a tire wall or whatever.

All that said, I'd probably be more likely to track a miata or 944 or something more mundane (read "cheap").

It looks like a go-kart had a love child with a Radical.

I wonder how it compares to a miata or elise/exige size-wise.

It looks extra short and narrow
