Well this is special. You know how cancelling a health club membership can be a real hassle? Well my club , Anytime Fitness just decided to close it's doors...with 24 hours notice. At least they waited till the end of the month.

I have a couple of oil paintings by Victor Czerkas. I got them from a prop house that didn't want to hassle with getting "clearance" on them to use in film and TV (filming the art hanging on the wall is considered "duplication"). Here's his Bio:

"Victor J. Czerkas (1914-2003) Born: Sioux City, Iowa; Studied: Chouinard Art Institute; Member: San Gabriel Art Association. Victor Czerkas grew up in Iowa and there learned the sign-painting trade. In the 1930s he moved to Southern California where he worked as a sign painter and freelance commercial artist. By the 1950s he was employed by Universal Studios as a lettering artist, producing hand-lettered titles for major motion picture releases. In later years he did similar work for ABC Television programs.

Throughout his life Czerkas also produced fine art watercolors and oil paintings. He studied art in the 1930s then continued his art education with private painting lessons from Nicolai Fechin. Most of his early paintings depict regional California cityscape and landscape views. These were often produced outdoors on location while viewing the subjects. After 1978 he also produced works depicting subjects he found while traveling in Europe, Russia, India, as well as areas in the Caribbean and Orient."

Anyway, I had seen one of his works on Etsy for $850 which wasn't too bad of a price. I hesitated and a few days later I came across another sale site called "Mercari" and the same seller had the piece on there for $450 so I snapped it up.

Here's a link to an Ebay auction for one of his pieces:

The woman who was selling my piece didn't know what it was and titled it "Bunker Hill" which was a watercolor he did of Los Angeles. Mine is another oil of the "Taos Pueblo". I think I got a good deal.

I'd tried them a few times over the years, and each time, I hated them. I either had problems with the legs riding up and bunching up or they would be very hot. I eventually tried a pair that I really liked. They were really nice and made by a Swiss company. They were also expensive. I eventually tried these, and love them. They don't ride up, much, but even if they do, the material is thin and isn't uncomfortable. And they don't feel like you're ass/junk are in an oven.

I've got some of their "Power Shift" too, but I like the Swing Shift better.

Wanna know what else doesn't ride up and feel like your junk is in an oven? Going commando. It lets your junk hang cool and keeps you feeling cooler. Also helps to increase sperm count if you're into that sorta thing.

Yeah, I've tried that. It's just not my thing.

I have a buddy who was strictly commando. Went to pick his wife up at the hair salon and his fly was open...

He NARROWLY avoided arrest.

Commando days are over for him.

At my age going commando increases the likelihood of sitting on my boys. :(

I'd be careful about saying that. When I worked as a back country ranger during summers, the second summer I wore loose fitting boxer underware like I'd worn in the Army. They were like going commando. I hiked around six to eight hundred miles during the season. Toward the end of the season, my nuts began to hurt down on the bottoms. When I got back home, I went to the doctor, & he said I had developed epididimitis from the seam in my pants rubbing back & forth during the hiking I did. One doc wanted to operate immediately. Scared me so I went to another who told me to draw a sitzbath of hot water & sit in it daily until it went away. Thankfully that worked. I don't think that helped my sperm count. Briefs prevented that problem.

We'll probably ship them off to China. Then China will have old ladies and orphans strip them for the precious metals.
