1976 911S value

Asking price on this one is $38,500. It seems low to me. What am I missing?

Edit - On second look I noticed the damage on the passenger side and the bubbling paint in spots.

Based on what I've been seeing lately, this car appears to be very well priced. Plus, it's a slick top!

Wish I had not sold my '76 911S targa when I did.

Probably close to fairly priced given the paint and body issues (likely resprayed too) and the 2.7 that may still have thermal reactors. Sunroof delete is nice though.

I've only had two opportunities to buy a 911. Instance one, and I went with an Elise, instead (ugh, that sucked on all levels). Instance two was a 1976 911S -- he wanted 10K CDN and my BMW K100RS (bike was likely worth 2K). I passed because of the model . . . and have since regretted it.
They don't seem to be getting cheaper

8 Years ago I listed my 76' targa here on Pelican for $50k and it sold in 4 days for what I was asking. Many said I was nuts, and that it would never sell for that. Wonder what I could get for it now?

Crickey that's a brilliant example... Not a fan of red interiors, but DANG that one is just stunning!
