A cheap but rugged quartz watch in the $200 or less Range tells time better than a $20,000 Rolex.
A $20 Wallet bought at Wal-Mart holds cash, cards, and ID as well as a designer wallet costing $200. A Ford get you from place to place just as well as a Mercedes. A $300,000 house shelters you as well as a $2million one. What really matters? The right guns, plenty of ammo and night vision devices.

A few years back, I had to meet up with a guy at his house. The house was new, nice and obviously cost far more than mine did. As I was waiting an ancient first generation VW Jetta diesel pulled in and a massive guy in a beat up straw hat and worn overalls levered himself out of the car. I was just about to ask him if the boss was anywhere about when he introduced himself and ushered me into his home. The house was nice because that is what his wife wanted. All he seemed to care about were his companies. A car was just a tool. If it did the job, fine.
