Has anybody seen the movie Roadrunner?

Saw it yesterday. If you were a fan of Bourdain's work, it is a fascinating study of what success did to him. He was a very complex guy with a lot of demons. I wasn't aware of all the craziness he was going through with his last girl friend. I always admired his writing, and his ability to fearlessly go into other cultures and meet people halfway. RIP

I saw a preview for it the other day. He was a very interesting and entertaining guy.

(quoting didn't work but this is for FFreddie) That seems more than a little superficial.

Dude was a decent cook, good enough writer and a really good (IMHO) storyteller.

It's sad to see anyone reach the end of that last rope and make the biggest and most tragic choice. We should be thankful we haven't been there.

I'll see the movie, but it'll be tough. I still haven't even finished his last season...

Bourdain grew and evolved while we watched him. That's what made his suicide hurt, at least for me. I felt that Bourdain in his final years was the best Bourdain yet, as a human being, and getting better. He shouldn't have gone so soon.
