Laser Cleaner/Rust/Oil Remover
Every couple days one of the ads that pop up on my browser home page is for a "Laser Rust Remover" for something like $43.99 and their little video looks pretty neat. BUT in searching I did not see any phone numbers or addresses in LA or such so I figure it is from China? Anyone try one of these?

Likely scam, like most of the facebook ads.

better to rent a CO2 blaster, that takes everything to fresh, and leaves no residue or damages parts

Laser ablation works extremely well. But not for that price.

Yea, the laser ablation devices I looked at were thousands of dollars. Anything for under 50 bucks is a nothing more than a laser pointer that you can get for under 5 bucks.
