Zeke/Milt?

i know he had enough of forums (i get it), but i was just wondering if anyone has heard from him "on the side".

Zeke is one of the good ones. Lots of practical knowledge in that head. I have nothing but praise for him and the time he spent here....

+1....Ol' Zeke might have become a bit grumpy (sometimes life will do that to you ), but I for one would welcome his return. Folks "dissing" him need to get a clue...if ya don't like someone's posting here, ignore it and move on....particularly if you haven't been around here for more than a decade . YMMV....

I think I'll disagree with you.

First, it does not matter how long a person has been posting here. Every post carries the same "weight". We sould welcome newbies and old crusties alike. And no one should be allowed to be some sort of prima donna just because you think you own the joint.

Second, Milt got to be REALLY negative. I think it was good that he took time off. But it was like so much drama each time he posted "delete my account" "I'm leaving" blah blah blah. I was thinking "just leave already".

Yes, Milt WAS a good guy. We all remember the old Milt. We choose to forget the grumpy, jaded, post 2007 Milt.

I probably do have "selective memory" as I tend to bounce in and out of here, and haven't been on nearly as much the past few years. I honestly can't recall Milt's negativity as much as you guys and still remember him from the technical side when I first discovered this site. This isn't the first time I've read the "I'm glad he's gone..." stuff though. That's not necessary either imo. I'll always give the "old timers" who made this place the benefit of doubt howver. We all have our moments, and I'd still trade Milt's grumpiness for his wisdom and posts any time he'd like to reappear ....but that's just me

I liked milt, and o was ignoring him getting all grumpy. But when he took to sending PMs to me and telling me this is how we do things, after I had been around for 5 years I came unglued on him. I can ignore grumpy, (still do it with Sammy ) but when I start getting snotty messages in my inbox I don't appreciate it. Like I said, I don't miss grumpy milt.
