^^^ There was nothing on it that was important to save. I never used it myself.
Nine years and I paid about a hundred for it new. I can't complain.

It's charged up...powered it up and entered my google account name and password.
10 seconds later...all my favorites, bookmarks, and other info are all on this computer now. They make it easy. Need to get a better wireless mouse...this one is too herky jerky.  Anyone want a 9 year old Chromebook for free?

another quick question: After the initial set-up, I received this notice in my email......
Smart Lock is turned on "Hi steve, You just turned on Smart Lock for your computer. Now your phone can unlock your Google Account on your computer, so you don't have to type your password." Why would I want this? And are there any drawbacks to leaving it on?

I live in a rural area...the landfill is about my only option.
Goodwill (10 miles away) will take it...but only if you prove that it works.
