So...anyone going to Austin F1 in October?

If so...anyone have a place rented near downtown, and wants some guests to crash there and pay some of the rent?

Life got in the way of finding a place to stay, and prices are, of course, stupid now. If anyone is renting a place for the weekend that happens to have an extra room, my wife and I would probably like to go in with you. I'd even buy the first 5 or 6 rounds at the bar as well.

I might be able to get you a place in San Marcos. ~30 minute run to the track sans traffic.

Full house.

One of my business partners owns it.

Had her kids in there for college and they just moved out and I don't think she has renters in it for the month yet.

Not sure if it will be furnished though.

I can ask if you want.

I might have found a place last night, I'm waiting for the email saying that they're canceling the rental because they screwed up and didn't overprice it enough...I've lost 3 or 4 rentals because the people decided to be greedy jerks.

I also have an option in Lockhart.
If I still need help, I'll contact you.

I'm holding out until the offer for 7 rounds.

I'd offer but we aren't close enough...

Just bring a tent, man! You can camp anywhere you want. If you want to take your daily constitutional at the front doors of the W Hotel, that's cool too! People do it all the time in Austin.

No worries.

Sadly, true.

I'd say you'd blend right in and go unnoticed but you'll probably be clean for the first couple of days so maybe not.
