That had to be one of the best Dodger games I've ever seen.

I recorded last nights game, got up early and watched it.

Wow.

Amazing how much better it is being able to FF through the game.

Yeah I was watching that live and couldn’t believe the call…. Definitely a mistake.

You are 100% correct and I agree w the other comments but the Giants were in first place and the Dodgers had to play the wild card game because of a blown check swing call that went the other way, (against Dodgers), in a regular season game.

MS has the most perfect, beautiful pitching form that I've seen in a long time. And he's an assassin. What a great get for the Dodgers.

I have only been to three MLB games since 2015. They all featured Scherzer pitching for the Nats. I only have one friend you gives a hoot about baseball so we splurge on seats and hotels around Nats Park. Great stuff.

When the Dodgers got him I knew the balance of pitching power shifted.

The home plate umpire also called quite a few LA pitches strikes when they were clearly off the plate or low. Was a hard-fought series though...too bad it had to end on a bogus call like that.

The mastermind, Alex Cora, just happens to be the manager for Boston. Anyway, he's part of my job taking out the trash.

What a deflating way to end a 107-win season. As an Angeleno, I was watching the game. But that was a lousy way to end the series.

A friend joked about how the cameras didn't focus at all on the umpiring crew leaving the field after that call, and that they seemed to leave pretty quickly. He also mentioned how that ump would probably need a police escort to get out of the stadium and parking lot safely. I wondered if that first base ump at least took the time to collect the envelope of cash from Dave Roberts before heading off the field.

My brother-in-law built a batting cage for Joc Pederson’s family when he was a youngster. Reportedly very nice family. His siblings are named Jaycee, Champ and Sport or something very close to that. Joc’s dad played a total of 8 games in the big leagues. I believe for the Dodgers.

Well, yawn, Braves won game 6 Champs.....

Too bad they couldn't have pulled that off while in Atlanta for their fans sake.
Rather anticlimactic considering how exciting some of the other games were.

Now baseball withdrawal symptoms will set in till next year.
