Burn the fire.

I would report it. It sounds like a cruel and unusual punishment. Submitting someone to a medical procedure in lieu of an alternative sentence?
What if it were chemical castration? Labotomy? HPV vaccine? Where does the line get drawn?

not really in my opinion.. the problem is that the waiver is 120 hours and not 8 hours for the day of the shot.. The ratio is way to high, that, is the problem.
Obviously if they already have had the vaccine, they can just do their time. let's say they do a crime get credit to get the vaccine then second time they already have it.. no more credit, do your time,. works for me. Just not 120 hours

Sentencing has always been a snakepit. Judges with discretion are all over the place...hangin' judges to liberals. But if you take away discretion with mandatory "guidelines" it almost guarantees another type of injustice. No easy answers.

Had a deal with state for deferred adjudication on a felony. At the last second Judge orders 90 days jail as a condition of the deferred. Ouch but technically not a busted deal so no avenue for redress.
