Harry's Garage '65 911

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_Ae_cmUAHk

Harry is driving a heavily 'breathed upon' (2.2 L 200 hp) 911.
The sound almost made me cry. On the other hand the thing is stickered at 254,000 GB pounds.

So much goodness from the early '60s. Just like Tyrrell, he wasn't sure when the wheelbase was extended.

Best
Les

The timeless 911. The best sports car ever made.

I really like hearing the impressions of a car enthusiast who is not necessarily a "911 guy". It serves to kind of re-center me, and make me appreciate what I have. After 20 some years with, and on the verge of beginning my third hundred thousand miles in my 1972 hot-rod, I sometimes find myself in real danger of seeing it as "just my car". So, after watching this, I hopped in it and went for a very "spirited" drive. Just to reconnect. And appreciate. It worked. I love my car.

Nice! Harry is hard for me to watch as he drones on and is so slow to get to the point. Fast forwarding a lot helps. I do love Tyrell's videos though.

Love his content, hopefully Harry gets a video editing coach at some point.

$476000 it better sound good...
It does though.... Still, That's an expensive engine redo (90K GBP)
My 2.4 T sounds 85% as good and costs a fraction of that.

I am also impatient as heck and the brain going in every direction (being a cartoon generation kid and all).
But what he also teaches is a mindset to gather information and fix problems.
It is a thing lost on our generation.
We "waste time" on earth in so many other different ways.

One thing at a time. Lather and repeat. No pain is involved.
Slower is faster.
