i dont decorate. eff that. i like decorating fine, i HATE un-decorating.

i know the holidays are rapidly approaching when....

i order wine. haha. man i love it. i live and work in wine country, so i have met people along the way. people with hookups. i work with a husband married to Duckhorn so BOOM. i have wine coming to me at a steep discount. a few cases.

i am gonna be pickled. my entire family is coming for Thanksgiving. i am luckily not hosting, but will be eating at my brother's girlfriends sisters place. girlfriend sister in law? my wife and i joke that we will pay for autopilot on our car just to get home.

we joke. we dont DUI. my wife doesn't drink.

tonight i am putting out a pumpkin (un-carved) just as soon as i call my distillery friend. i love this time of year. my sister hinted at being at our place this Christmas. errgghh..

My son is going elk hunting for the first time with us this year, and we are trying 2nd rifle not 3rd like normal, and going someplace new.....

With all of that being said the season starts on October 30th, so I am missing Halloween, my favorite holiday. I will put out a few decorations but not as many as normal

Believe it or not we have elk hunts in SW Oklahoma.

Wichita Mountains have an annual hunt drawing. About 30,000 apply and around 200 tags are issued. Kill rate nears 80%. This drawing is closed.

This year Ft Sill is having a drawing to hunt on base. Only one winner. A 3 day guided tour to hunt the elk of your choice. These are elk that have jumped the fence from the refuge into military base. Ten bucks a ticket or five for 30 bucks. Draw is Dec 3rd.
