Always following the play book. Always doubling down on the absurd. Always pivot to being the victim.

pavulon, you sound hurt. Just remember, everything will be ok.

Oh, and saying that fint " Always pivots to being the victim" is absurd.

I think I already answered that in this thread...don't you guys have any new attacks to use? Do you all sport the same meager vocabulary of whiney complaints and uppity innuendo in your quiver of personal attacks? This is getting pathetic. Let me repeat myself as it still seems to apply:

I am never a victim...but I sure get a kick out of the self-proclaimed victims lining up here to assure us they are better than the rest of us because they really, really, really care about a guy they never met or bothered to meet...and only noticed he died because it was noted in PARF. A place/group that they condemn relentlessly.

Funny how folks that whine incessantly about others who post here and always work so hard to assure us (and themselves) just what good people they are...are the first to take that cheap shot, make that personal attack, or call folks names. If you have to keep making the case that you are virtuous, you probably are the only one who really thinks so...and likely you have great doubts.

Coming from the guy seeking to end divisiveness and bring unity to the forum with the following in his signature:

"If panning for gold fillings in a sewage treatment plant sounds reasonable, PARF could be the place for you."

Just say it..."World peace" and pretend you mean it...LOL

It was a hollow denial the first time you posted it but try again because if you just repeat yourself 3 times, all your words...are still lame.

Wonderful to see Rwebb, who made big mistakes, be treated in death so beautifully by the OT. Hope that happens to me someday. He was a classic, if even that, always being the first to attack other PARFer's. He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace.

By D. Trump & with some editing to meet context.

yeah? Do tell; just how are Those with massive post counts the problem?

Oh wait, you can't answer that because it would increase your post count. ... and that would be BAD.... :D

Well, I for one, really Appreciate the massive post counts of Wayne, SammyG2, fintstone, tabs... They MAKE this place. Don't believe me? Go look at the subforms that have whole lot of single-digit posts. That content sucks.

The incessant need to be heard and dominate discussions doesn't impress me. Just because someone talks a lot doesn't mean what they say has value or is worth listening to. For me, less is more. Simple as that.

It's not the post count that's the problem, it's the signal to noise ratio. Some members post prolifically and enhance the quality of the board. Others dominate threads and crowd out interesting discussions. More than a few do some of each.

I've thought about this a bit since we received news of Randy's passing. I never had a problem, or even a cross word with him, and I was always puzzled by some of the more unpleasant exchanges that surrounded him. I think that PPOT is like a Rorschach test. Many have been on this board for years, so we've gotten to know each other a bit. With that level of familiarity, some posters have developed a way of reading particular people's posts a certain way. For some reason, when a lot of people saw Randy's posts they had a visceral reaction to the author and saw dragons instead of butterflies and the fur started to fly. I suspect that if someone else had written some of his posts they wouldn't have drawn some of the ire that he reveled in.

It's his public cry for attention- he's been hurt. Snowflake. Worse than a scorned 10 year old girl.

PS RIP Webb, Thor, etc. I'll flame you in the afterlife when I get there.

EDIT: Save me a spot at the great poker table- hopefully next to ol' scratch himself. ;)

You really didn't answer the question.
Maybe you should have given a little more by giving less.

...and for others...less is less. Why place restrictions on others based on your desires? Why not allow everyone to enjoy the forum as they see fit?

As far as dominating discussions...someone else posting (often or rarely) does not prevent your offering your own opinion/posting. There is not a fixed number of posts allowed...there is room for everyone to post their ideas/opinions...and "sell" them as they like. Whether or not they are deemed valid or embraced has more due to the validity of the argument than anything else. That determines which ideas dominate a discussion. Campaigning to silence the ideas/opinions of those that disagree does not seem a real solution (as eventually someone will decide to silence you). Our founding fathers were very prescient regarding freedom of speech/expression.

......at least I don't whine like a 10 year old girl with a skinned knee about PARF..

Seemed harmless to me. Just needed some friends...so he made them up. Hard to blame him as most folks arguing his side were pretty ineffectual...and he needed better/smarter reinforcements.

So you are saying that Liberals are impotent...Ahh so how can they be fking Liberals if they can't rise up?
