Outstandingly amazing rare happening...

A neighbor had his kubota tractor in my the back of my property, He was going to use it as a makeshift skidder to drag some trees downed in the last wind/ice storm. Told him he could have 'em for firewood since my wood shed is full & I only use the wood stove during power outages.

So, what's amazing and rare? The Kubota's battery died. Needed a 10mm deep socket to remove the battery bracket.

Amazing! There actually was a 10mm 1/4" drive deep socket hidden away in my rollaway!

Your planets must have been all lined up for it to be a 10mm hiding in there.

I ride my bicycle 20 miles per ride, three days a week. After thirty years I have a shoe box full of one off tools found in the gutter. Like a magpie, I'm a sucker for shiny things that need to be cleaned and find a home. I have an assortment of about 6-8 10mm sockets and about 3-4 10mm wrenches.

Bwa-ha-ha-ha.

10’s are what balances the universe out. If it gets too heavy they evaporate into the ether. If the universe gets too light, they pop into being with an ever so slight ping hardly anything can hear. Except cats.

There is just no way I would have laid down the once socket I just used in some of the places I find them.

My tools get together deep in the night and strategize their hooliganism for the next day. I did install a night vision trail cam to catch them in the act.

Of course, they somehow recruited the cam and my mission was a failure.

Anybody got any suggestions for what to do next?
