Three episodes in and I am liking it so far.

Been watching "Suits" on Netflix. Enough of a soap opera to keep Vicki watching and eye candy amd lawyers stuff for me. Megan Markle is one of the principle actors. She's the only one working in the lawyer's office who doesn't dress like she's going out to a fancy dinner.

Sarah Rafferty helps make it watchable.

Rewatching all seasons of the Expanse - still excellent (and still a slow start with a big world to build, for those who have not seen it, hang in there)

I'll have to go back to it and give it a longer chance. I'm finding 3 Body Problem isn't making sense right off the bat, but I believe it will after episode 4.

Edit- finished season 1 and some of the sci-fi was great, but some of it was ridiculous. Too much of it was unrealistic for me to buy in, but some of the CGI was really good.

If you enjoy the comedy team “Broken Lizard”, you will enjoy it.

The Outsider is a 10-episode single season (2020) based on Stephen King's 2018 book of the same name. I thought it was excellent. It moves slowly, but almost every scene develops the story or the characters and it's really well done. The PI character Holly makes the show.

A little clip from The English. Some great villains, especially Black-Eyed Mog.

This might be interesting. The first 2 episodes premier tomorrow on Apple TV, then the next 8 on every Wednesday. I hate not being able to see all of them right away...

This reminds me of Robot and Frank, which I enjoyed.

my sister has been in my ear about Your Honor... I went back in time a month or so back and am watching Dexter. I did not watch it when 1st out but it's pretty entertaining just about finish season 2.

Steve Carlton 07-09-2024 12:52 PM

I watched a lot of Dexter and enjoyed it. But it seemed like every storyline was basically the same.

JackDidley 07-09-2024 04:07 PM

Season 3 of Mayor of Kingstown is out. Jeremy Renner is badass.

The Glory. on Netflix.
incredible.

Steve Carlton 07-21-2024 09:43 AM

I finally started watching 1923 on Paramount+ and it gets better and better through the 8 episode season. IMO it's much better than 1883. Highly recommend.

Steve Carlton 07-26-2024 10:30 AM

Not recommended is Godless on Netflix. 7 long episodes where 3 would have done it. Weak storyline. Jeff Daniels was somewhat interesting, but it was the same same the whole way through. There were some bright spots, but too few and far between.

PBS Frontline, I caught an episode this past Tuesday called Two American Families. It profiles 2 families over a 34 year period struggling to get by.
