"Mr Inbetween on Hulu. Aussie series. Excellent."

Is this a new season?

No, I was just catching up to it.

Scott Watkins 02-13-2025 06:15 AM

Ok, thank you. Great show!

Season 2 came out last October. It's a puzzle, but it's really good. It's on Amazon.

Edit- I thought season 1 was more riveting. Season 2 was good, but hard to follow.

Ray has to go to an anger management group because he dealt with a couple of jerks who deliberately knocked his daughter's ice cream cone out of her hand.

SNL. Yes, Saturday Night Live. From the 70s. 50 years since the premier and now they are showing those early episodes. Not sure but tonight may have been the first. I did LOL.

^^^ I'm a half hour into it.....I hope it gets better soon.
I was never that big of a fan back in the day.

American Primeval on NETFLIX is the best thing I've watched in a couple years.

Has a snowy day and started watching it around 2PM and binged all 6 episodes in one sitting.

New season of Severance. On episode 4. Getting stranger every episode.

I finished "Day One" with Robert DeNiro on Netflix. It was a very good series and I highly recommend it.

Steve Carlton 02-23-2025 07:01 AM

Never heard of it. I will watch it without knowing anything about it.

greglepore 02-23-2025 07:30 AM

Its actually called Zero Day if you're looking.

Scott Watkins 02-26-2025 08:06 AM

I started watching season 1 of “All In The Family” last night. I can’t believe that was 1971!

Was crying I was laughing so hard!

serene911 02-26-2025 08:35 AM

Another plus for Zero Day. Very good mini series.

Another up for this - as pictures help (Hulu). It's really really good and original... I liked how at first it was a botched secret service job and then the story takes a complete left turn - the acting is great, the writing excellent, first show in a long time that surprises me.. That probably means it'll get cancelled.

The Tourist on Prime. 2 seasons. ....... excellent entertainment. the casting is over the top.
turned off Zero Day, ........ f'n ridiculous. can't believe DeNiro lowered himself. YMMV.
"Surface" on Apple. - has been great, so far. 2 seasons, 2nd? in progress.

new trend of having to wait a week between episodes? ....... that sucks.

Just finished watching the two seasons of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. Based on books by Douglas Adams.
From the BBC a few years ago.
Has some great characters, although Dirk becomes rather annoying rather fast.
Season one involves time travel, season two is more of a fairy tale with interdimensional travel involved.
Some interesting concepts and the obligatory evil government agency.

It came out before the Boys and the apparently borrowed some of their ideas.

jcwade 02-26-2025 07:22 PM

Season 3 of Reacher.

Scott Watkins 02-27-2025 08:47 AM
