The thing about Pam A new series. . I struggled to watch this . Renee Zellweger. For some reason they made her look 60 pounds heavier than she actually is and she is a not very likeable Pam. I doubt I will watch again.

Pieces of Her goes downhill, gets boring, and dies.

Just watched the Red Oaks series on Amazon. 2-1/2 seasons long. Story around a NJ country club in the mid 1980's. Funny and entertaining. Good way to pass time when you can't sleep.

"Billions". Basically an over-zealous DA -vs- a big-baller CEO competition core story.

A cast of great actors, solid character development, a weaving and continuous plot-line which is 'mostly' believable, plus a spattering of cultural and financial references tucked in throughout the script.

I just got through Season 2 & 3. I hope it doesn't jump the shark.
Easy to watch with a magnify glass or in the background.
There are a couple light nude scenes but it's mostly family friendly.

To Catch A Smuggler on History Channel.
Always interesting.

I was going to say something but I wanted you to experience what I experienced. That show went from exciting to stupid fast.

The Tourist on HBO was really good. I think it’s an Australian show.

I liked the scene in the first episode with the knife in the hand and slashed throat. To see happen again with another character was beyond strange.

"Bull" tv series.
An attorney firm uses real-time data to somehow monitor jurors during proceedings and coordinate with an outside computer system. An odd and probably highly illegal concept, but that's what they did. Freddy Rodríguez is the perfect bulldog and does a pretty good Pachino. Season2 was popcorn stupid level but the writing and scenarios get better. Expect a massaging of last minute witnesses/evidence to always save the day.

The Beatles Get Back. Mini series documentary. Old footage of the Beatles making the Let it be album. They did it in less than 30 days. Its pretty long. I saw the first 1 1/2 hour and the last 3 1/2 hours. At 3AM I needed to be entertained and his did the job. Some very funny moments and some just video of the creative process.

If you liked Suicide Squad, you should try Peacemaker. Absurd humor with excessive cursing.

For a laugh we watch Life In Pieces on Netflix. It used to be on CBS.

My inner 14 year old loved that series. Lots of cussing and bizarre humor.

UTOPIA.........the Brit version not the milk toast US remake with John Cusack.

I’m surprised it’s still available on Prime.

I just finished two seasons of a show called Humans. It is a bit strange, and the plot does not go where I thought it would. It is about a future when androids are raising human children to populate a new planet. It gets weirder and I never did guess what was next. They left it ready for season three.

For Science Fiction fans it is OK. Not great, but something different.

Steve Carlton 03-25-2022 08:09 AM

Sounds like “Raised by Wolves.”

Wow, you are right. It was Raised By Wolves! Sorry for the brain fart.

Humans is a different Android story and more predictable.
