Statute Of Limitations for Murder?
Is there a SoL for murder?
Another question; Why would somebody want to get rid if the stigma attached to wantonly murdering an innocent teen ager in a drunken stupor? Oh, I know. To make it easier to become a CEO of Nike, that's why. |

I'm not a lawyer, and I didn't play one on TV, but EVERY TV show that I've even seen has said that there's no statute of limitations on murder.

Apparently he was caught and went to jail as a juvenile and did his time...so no risk other than to is reputation. One can only wonder about the grief he caused the family of the young stranger he murdered for no reason as he gazes down from his position of wealth and power after a wonderful life (after tragically and intentionally taking the life of another).

The story has nothing to do with the statute of limitations as he was caught almost immediately, convicted and incarcerated. Maybe this is what the man meant when he said,"Let he who is without sin..."
I am surprised he was able to get off the downward spiral of criminal activity. Most don't manage to do that. I guess sometimes you have to hit bottom first. Best Les

Rough crowd. The man was in a gang at 13, in the wilds of West Philly in 65 (think Harlem during that time) and committed an act of gang violence while a drunken 16 year old. Convicted and did juvie time. In Pa, juvie records are sealed so NO ONE would ever know, and that has been borne out. So he comes clean out of conscience now.
Do we not want people who set off on a wrong horrible path to redeem themselves through education and hard work?
