Warm Fuzzy and a Marine that's really got a way with words
Someone needs to hire this guy to be a talking head. He's got a way with words.
The original video with the entertaining interview was removed, unfortunately. Here's another. I haven't had the opportunity to see if the interview is still entertaining. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/S70WoTKHCGc" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> It's unfortunate that the first video was removed. It was hilarious. Some of the more memorable quotes "I hit him and the gun before the keys hit the ground. That's how fast I moved." "Yeah, you done screwed up" "That boy needs Jesus" "I got stuff to do." (after being asked how he liked being in the limelight). |
Quick thinker ....... could have used him on the Philly rape train .
|
I'm surprised that MSM would carry this due to the MAGA hat, the "Jesus reference, and being a former Marine ! These three things don't fit their agenda....It's good to have guys like him walking around !

Marines make the blood flow
Blood makes the grass grow One. Two. Three. Four. I love the Marine Corps |
Solid moves, not so sure about the clown hat though.

It's hard to argue with his results. He stopped the situation and as far as I can tell, no shots were fired. The 14 year old will live to reconsider his path forward.

Love stories like, wish there were more people willing to get involved  |
The skinny puke has probably seen lots of tv shows and movies and, assuming everyone would cower before him, made the mistake of getting too close to one of his victims. Even if he'd been willing to pull the trigger, there was simply no way his eyes could get the signal to his brain, and his brain to his finger, in time to stop what was about to come his way.
Even pogues receive a fair amount of MCMAP training (and if this former Marine wasn't a pogue he'd almost certainly have received higher levels). Poor skinny kid never had a chance. _ |

But the point is thay you seem to forget its not the rude guy that should be centwr front its that so many are fed up with the swill that aint cuttin.the mustard no mo. Forgit that ideology crap..thays just a fkin lie from the jump that is used to get in your pants. |
Yuma is a rough town. Most of the juvenile corrections in the state come from that city....
|
I think he got lucky. The video isn't clear but it looks like he didn't have control of the perps hand or weapon. Obviously it worked out but he definitely got lucky.
|
Looked like skill to me (As hard for most to use the left hand like that and would have crossed their body with the right...losing a second and leaving himself off balance....it often just takes some nads and a quick, decisive move. He wasn't playing.
|
Yeah, that was not amateur move. Skill. He committed and executed very quickly.

Was it this one? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/i5R13Qo330M" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
He's a badass, at least, compared to 95% of dudes out there. Still, I wonder how much of the smoothness and quick success had to do with the fact that the perp was 14 vs a 19-25 yo veteran gang banger. I don't want to take anything away from the guy at all. Like I said, badass. But, I suspect trained marine vs 14yo wanna be thug compared to trained marine vs veteran thug will probably be very different even if the marine ultimately "wins" both events.
I was robbed at gunpoint once many years ago. I worked in an autoparts store in a very poor part of town. I think I could have easily stopped it, but I just wasn't thinking that clearly at the time. I'm 6'2" and at the time, probably 185#. I was probably in reasonably good physical shape, but nothing special. I was checking a guy out when a little skinny fella ran in with a mask and blue revolver. There were some rude folks in that part of town, so when the guy crouched down and said "put da money in the bag or I'll kill ya." I ignored him. I ignored him as he said that 2 or 3 times. The final time, I looked over at him and waved my hand at him in a "Shoo! Go away" gesture. After that he stood up (had been crouched down to my left) and stood next to the customer. The customer turned into a statue until the guy said "I ain't gonna hurt ya, you can go." The second time he said that the customer was gone in a puff of smoke like in the cartoons. It was about that time, that the fact that the guy had a gun and was robbing us registered in my brain. I started trying to open the register, but because I was in the middle of a sale, the "n/s" (no sale) button wouldn't open the till. THere was another employee in the store with me. He came out of the back and started making noise at the back counter. The guy with the gun turned around and looked towards the back. Not only that, but the guy was holding the gun sideways and at an angle, so it wasn't really pointed at me. I could have easily taken the gun in that split second when the guy looked away. But, it wasn't my money, and I'm still here to tell the tale. I have no idea if I'd have the presence of mind to do anything differently today, 30 years later. Hopefully, I never have to find out. |
