Looking around for 11 grand worth of crap that I can sell to justify this:

This looks like it could be fun. Real fun.
Especially if you had a buddy that had one, too.
But, sheesh...11 grand.

My neighbor has this (and about a dozen other dirtbikes). He says it is a blast, Im sure the ktm is in a different league but he says it is pretty great for 4k.

A work friend has one, races dirt bikes too and highly rates the KTM, so do local thieves as he's had 2 stolen

I'm looking forward to when all the Harley riders get e-motorcycles.

While I like it/love it, with my dirt bike background and old guy hips, I would be in traction in 10, maybe 15 minutes.

Anyone know of an electric putt-putt two wheeler with a good rep?

The KTM would be great but I know me.

The Sur-ron seems to the top dog in the small electric motorcycle domain. Lots of youtube videos out there. They seem like a cross between mountain bike and motorcycle.

Would be great for evening rips around the farm. No more fussing with gas or mixing oil or a gummed up carb in the spring! Can’t wait to see these become more common and the price drop on them.

Uh-oh.

I may be too big (220lbs now) but I need to go take a look.

Electric is certainly appealing with it's even power, never bogging down, etc.

If I were gonna drop the coin, this is the one I'd get.

Looks enough like a bike that I could bomb around the forest preserves too...

I have some friends with a stock one and one that has been hopped up. They are pretty fun, but a little too small for my taste.
Admittedly i come from a MTB background and have only ridden MX bikes a few times, so i am used to larger wheels.

The good thing about this puppy is if you get caught riding where you shouldn't really be... You can claim it's a battery powered mountain bike "It's a bicycle Sir, a bicycle with a small battery."

I have owned Honda's and KTM's, just cannot imagine not hearing the sound of a two stroke 150 or a four stroke 250 from a KTM. Just not natural. Yeah, I am getting old.

^^ Fun, but are they fragile? Seen a lot of side x side front end damage on the you-tubes when they take a jump wrong. As if they're built to perform a very specific (fun!) task but they don't tolerate extracurricular hooniganism.

(I just made up a new word!)

I’ve been rockin the dirt bikes this year. New to me. It’s a Covid thing. Yes. Dangerous. But I tell myself to be very careful.

Friend just bought a KTM Freeride and now I am looking them also. Amazing bike. We bring a small generator to the trails and it quick charges in @ 45 minutes.
