I look at that mileage and all I can think about is how much TIME you've spent in the car going that far.

Have you ever driven/rode a small displacement Honda motorcycle?
That's the best way for me to describe the Fit. Five speed with v-tech...it is a blast to wring it out between the gears. And it handles great also.

You think that car is fun to wring out. You should try a 3.5L V-6 and see what you think then.

Only 200k miles. Though with some of the stuff that happened in August we don't really need her any longer.

I also own a Prelude w/nitrous....the Fit is just as much fun to drive. Maybe more...because it's unlikely to get a ticket.

But it was in a Fit so it probably didn't take that long. I'm sure that every 5 mins spent in a Fit feels like hours, and you can drive a long way in "hours".

I have seen a couple of your posts about the Fit and how it's actually reasonably fun/entertaining. I assume it could be like the modern version of the original mini.

Still, it's so easy to make fun of!

Swapped into the back of the fit so it would be mid-engined.

Like the modern version of

Can the Mini do this? 15" sub and enough room for a half dozen bikes. (standing upright)

When my 98 Subaru Outback hit 240,000 miles (I bought it with 180k), I summed it up as "Finally got to The Moon, drove around did a bit of sight seeing, got 3/8 of a tank left hope I make it back home, good thing it's all downhill if I time it just right."

^^^ It's a 2010...so not that much over mileage.
I drive it normally on the highway...70-75mph...that's where the mpg suffers.
In normal traffic...I drive it like a stoplight racer. (it's never babied when going thru the gears)

Every tank of gas..I reset the mileage minder and it's almost never under 40
